The waitress and I worked things out.

I originally booked a table for 12 for Tara's welcome back lunch - which was wicked by the way. And then a few extra people showed up, so we needed a bigger table. The waitress had an idea:

"Did you want to just seat four over here and then the other twelve can sit together? I think if we added an extra table...I'm just worried that it could be a fire hazard."

"No, it's fine."

End of conversation, I helped add an extra table. And we sat 14 together.

Just like it should be.
