Top 10 toughest people I know
I often wonder who would win in a fight between Nate Lim and Robin Logan. With that in mind, here is my list of top 10 toughest people I know (based on people listed in my cel phone address book):
10. Joey Walter, former camper.
For a 17-year-old, he is a machine. I don't even want to imagine how strong he will be at 27. Gets into the top 10 based on being so young yet so powerful. His dad Ryan was considered tough during his career and that was in the NHL.
9. Gordon Campbell, youth floor hockey machine.
The Thursday night floor hockey player, not the politician. Wants to join the army and would be an excellent candidate. If you're new and you come to Thursday nights with a jerkish attitude, Gordon doesn't take kindly to you.
8. Ben Lush, little-brother-type.
Sweety pie at first sight but could kill you if he felt like it. Trained to fight and much stronger than he looks. Could probably thumb you in the chest and kill you on impact.
7. Brennan McAllister, life partner.
I rarely see Brennan mad and I like it that way. He is freakishly strong for a pale white man from the West End. I don't know what to say about him because I have only seen glimpses of what he is capable of. The potential is frightening.
6. Pete Gladden, CapChurch member.
A tank. He gets a fearless look in his eye and has no regard for his own safety. Even in playfighting in his living room he DDT'd my head onto his floor without thinking. Since he was really apologetic about it, I can't justify putting him in the top five.
5. Phil Croze, Anvil homey.
Probably the toughest untrained person on this list. He's made of brick. There are so many instances in church league hockey games where he could end somebody's life with a simple shoulder check. Thank goodness for the no-hitting policy or many TWU students would have to take online classes from their hospital beds.
4. Chris Goebel, hockey teammate.
What'd you do at work today Chris? Oh you led a police assault team into an insane asylum where 40 inmates had broken free? That's cool. Just another Saturday afternoon, eh?
3. Jon Poli, elementary and high school friend.
For fun, Jon likes wrestling his tough-as-hell Argentinian father in the backyard. Woops...broken nose...sorry dad. Was 5-0 tall in Grade 8 and could kill anyone. Is now 6-4 and a personal trainer and could kill you twice. Currently learning MMA as a hobby.
2. Nate Lim, doctor.
Could legitimately handle three average-sized men attacking him. If you can somehow outthink him during the fight, you won't be able to move him because he is too damn thick. And you can't outthink him anyway because he is trained...so it's best just to commit suicide.
1. Robin Logan, aka Sweet Daddy Devastation.
Former ECCW champion and living proof that pro wrestler's are some of the toughest human beings on earth. Has broken everything, has defended himself with a whole group of guys attacking him, and is big into MMA. He is as strong as Nate, but slightly better trained and has more of a mean streak. Whenever I call him, he's training. Good thing Nate's a doctor.

Honourable mention goes to Jordan Chong for heart & desire, Earl Maynard for ruggedness & being 6-7, and Pete Parrotta for dunking through a ring of fire with a bear suit on.
