4:15pm on hockey night in canada - canadiens and leafs: the oldest rivalry in hockey. 18,000 booing as the the white and blue enter...a delay...18,000 roaring for the red and blue. coldplay's fix you blaring in the background as fans rise and sharp lights pierce the darkness of the arena. holy shit, this is a hockey player's dream. i got goosebumps watching and part of me wishes i had just dedicated my childhood to being a hockey player, or that i had been given more talent, a bigger body, more drive...but i'm happy to take it in, also.
