Learning serves
Hardest part of tennis. Every rally has a serve. So much to think about: front foot at 45-degrees to the base line, back foot parrallel. Weight shift front-to-back, ball toss even with line, full motion non-stop patient backswing. Let the ball come down from its peak, reach for it with your racquet, never stop looking at the ball. Loose grip, pointer finger is the trigger, side brush the ball to generate spin. Full follow through past hip, aim as close to the net as possible without nicking it. Play to opponent's backhand, mix-up spin and location to keep opponent guessing, spring forward off serve into ready position. Do not hit yourself really hard with your racket on your non-serving hand. Ow, gaw-damm-sunnuva-bich.
